Anthurium-Flamingo Plant

The Anthurium or Flamingo plant is a beautiful long lasting plant. With its red heart shaped flowers it makes an excellent present for Valentines or Mothers day. The Anthurium is available in different colors and that's why it also makes a fantastic indoor tropical plant yearround.

Put it in a a high vase or have three plants each in their own ceramic pot as a group in front of the window. Looks great!!!

Your anthurium also loves to be outside in the summer time. Never put it in the full sun though, that will burn the leaves.

Let your Anthurium dry out in between waterings. Give it the warmest spot in the house. Fertilize about once a month in the dormant season (October till March) and fertilize twice a month in the growing season. (March till October)
